2 Decades in Hockey

Entering a new decade of hockey sometimes makes it fun to look back on the previous ones.

I tremendously grateful for all the experiences and friendships I have made. Looking back on my playing and coaching career I am excited for what the next decade has in store.

2000-2010

2000-2001

I began my first year playing AAA hockey for the Cleveland Barons. Our '88 Barons team included some great talent including Carter Camper (3 NHL GP, currently in AHL Utica), Kelly Stack (US Womens Olympic Team), Joe Tolles (QMJHL, SPHL),

2008-09

Oshawa Generals - one of my most favorite experiences in hockey. A great hockey city, fan base and played alongside several NHLers.

2010-2020

2010 - After my OHL career I took my OHL education package and went to Halifax Nova Scotia to get my bachelors degree in business and continue my hockey development.

2009-2012

My first season at Saint Marys University was a special one winning the CIS National Championship in overtime over the University of Alberta

Continued playing at Saint Marys winning AUS goalie of the year in 2011 and finishing my bachelors degree.

2012-13

Turned professional and signed with the Rapid City Rush of the Central Hockey League (now ECHL). I was later picked up by Quad City and had a rookie season of pro.

2013-14

Signed with the Nottingham Panthers for the first half of the season. Had a great first experience playing in Europe. 2nd half of the season I went back to the ECHL and played for the Elmira Jackals of the ECHL

2014-15

One of my best season of hockey playing for the Toledo Walleye in the ECHL. We won the Brabham Cup as Regular Season Champions and went to the conference finals losing in Game 7 3OT.

2015-16

I signed with ECHL Cincinnati Cyclones and then jumped back to Europe in January playing for the Valpellice Bulldogs in Italy (outside of Torino).

After this season I decided to retire and pursue my opportunities coaching

2016-17

I started my coaching career becoming the goalie coach for Szekesfehervar who plays in the Austrian Pro League (EBEL). Fehervar is outside of Budapest, Hungary.

2017-2020

Came back Cleveland full time for the first time in 15 years. Have been coaching for the Cleveland Barons and Gilmour Prep.

Couldnt be happier to be giving back to the game and helping the next generation of goalies pursue their passions and move onto the next level. We have already seen lots of goalies make the jump to the next level and have tons of young talent in the city on their way.
